OUR TEAM


Mill House Medical Centre Doctors

Doctors at this practice have satisfied the Continuing Professional Development requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners & are on the Vocational Register of General Practice.

Dr. Karen Salisbury (Principal) 
MB ChB, MRCGP, FRACGP

Dr. Salisbury trained as a GP in Edinburgh, Scotland. 


Utilising her extensive experience in general practice, she has a special interest in Medical Education & holds academic status as a senior lecturer at Flinders University. 


She also provides obstetric shared care with Flinders Medical Centre.

Dr. Sabine Dannenberg (Principal)
FRACGP

Dr. Dannenberg trained in Amsterdam before migrating to Australia in 2005. 


She worked at FMC & Repat, then joined Mill House in 2011 and did most of her GP training with us. 


Dr Dannenberg has a special interest in paediatric care.

Dr. William Morrison
MBBS, DRCOG (London)

Dr. Morrison graduated from the University of Sydney. 


He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of rural health care.

Dr. Rajib Debnath
MBBS, FRACGP

Dr. Debnath trained in Bangladesh before migrating to Australia in 2009, working in NSW before moving to SA in 2015. 


He has a special interest in Aboriginal health, Paediatrics and skin cancer/lesion removal.

Dr. Vanessa Brinkworth
BSc, MD, FRACGP

Initially training in Pre-hospital Emergency Care, Dr. Brinkworth moved to the Fleurieu region to raise three children and to work as a paramedic for ten years before becoming a doctor. 


She completed her medical degree at Flinders University, and has a keen interest in all aspects of general medicine. 

Dr. Holly Franklin

MD,FRACGP, Dip RANZCOG

Dr. Franklin completed her medical degree at Flinders University in 2015. Following that she worked at the Women's and Children's Hospital for 3 years, where she worked mainly in women's health and completed the Diploma of Obstetrics. She has also worked in rural South Australia and can provide Obstetric Shared Care Services.


Her special interest is in women's health and pregnancy, but is also interested in other areas of general practice, including chronic disease management and skin cancer treatment.

Dr. Qing Xi Tan (Registrar)

MBBS

Dr. Tan completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2020.  He has worked at several tertiary hospitals in South Australia prior to entering his General Practice training in 2023, while completing a Graduate Diploma in Child Health. 


Dr. Tan is keen on all areas of General Practice, with particular interest in mental health.  He joins Mill House in 2024 as Registrar.

Dr. Piers Deignan (Registrar)
MC ChB

Originally from Ireland, Dr. Deignan completed his medical degree at University College Dublin, including a Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Obstetrics.


Practicing in Emergency Care over the past several years, he arrived in South Australia in 2023 and joins Mill House in 2024 as Registrar. 


Dr Deignan has special interest in lifestyle and preventative medicine, and his hobbies of rugby and sailing spurring an interest in sports medicine.

Administration

The friendly team that will greet you at reception has recently grown and now consists of Neala our Administration Coordinator, overseeing all aspects of reception and administration, along with receptionists Hannah, Ashlynn, Cassie and Trainee Zoe. They will help you with your scheduling, billing & medical record concerns. 

Nurses

Registered Nurse Sandy is the Clinical Coordinator, overseeing all aspects of clinical care, booking of health assessments, chronic disease management plans, reviews and medical procedures.

Registered Nurses Sandy, Deb and Georgie and Enrolled Nurses Lisa, Bella and Leanne are the Practice Nurses who assist the doctors with medical procedures, immunisations, health assessments and Chronic Disease Management planning & review.
